To strengthen our team in the Finance and Services area, Finance and Accounting Department, we are looking for a skilled employee as
Finance Specialist (m/f/d) 80 - 100%
We actively shape the energy transition and are looking for a motivated personality who wants to help shape this change.
This is what you will do:
- Independent management of the accounting for the St.Gallen municipal utilities, as well as the Regional Water Supply St.Gallen AG and energienetz GSG AG (including financial statements)
- Participation and responsibility for projects in the finance area as well as the digitization and automation of internal workflows and processes
- Preparation and monitoring of the liquidity of the companies
- Deputy for the head of the Finance and Accounting Department as well as asset accounting
- Active support of the department head in special tasks
- Participation in the further development of finance and accounting
This is what you bring with you:
- Completed studies in business administration, professional certificate in finance and accounting, or a comparable qualification
- Confidence in accounting according to Swiss Code of Obligations and/or Swiss GAAP FER
- Strong IT affinity, experience in digitization processes, and preferably knowledge of Abacus
- Analytical and implementation-oriented thinking and acting, as well as an independent, structured, and reliable working style
- Absolute integrity and pronounced affinity for numbers
