About the job

Profile. Berufsvorbereitungsjahr Winterthur is a one-year public bridging programme for young people and young adults without an apprenticeship or follow-up solution.
We support learners in career orientation and apprenticeship search and prepare them both professionally and cross-disciplinarily for entering the workforce. We look forward to filling a versatile and responsible position at the start of the 2026/2027 school year. The workload is 13 to 26 lessons per week.

Your Tasks

Possible teaching subjects: German, Career Choice, State and Society, Geography, Economics, French

Class teacher responsibility, coaching

Your Profile

Teaching diploma for lower or upper secondary level or training as a vocational school teacher for general education

Training in career choice education amounting to at least 10 ECTS credits or 300 learning hours, or willingness to complete this

Interest in and enjoyment of working with young people and young adults

Teamwork skills, resilience, flexibility, openness
