Your Team and Your Mission

We are an interdisciplinary sustainability team in the real estate consulting sector and support our clients in developing and implementing data-based sustainability strategies. We combine expertise from construction and environmental sciences with digital and analytical methods.

To successfully handle our exciting and demanding mandates, we are looking for a motivated individual with technical, analytical affinity and genuine enthusiasm for sustainability topics – ideally with an interest in a subsequent permanent position.

During your internship or entry phase, you will be closely integrated into our work processes. Your motivation, willingness to learn, and ability to learn are central – we will teach you everything else.

Your Tasks

As an intern, you will actively participate in daily business and take on tasks related to data analysis, ESG assessment, and sustainability strategies:

• Support with CO₂ emission analyses at the property and portfolio level
• Calculation and optimization of operational emission reduction pathways for public sustainability reporting
• Participation in ESG property ratings
• Collaboration in the development and further development of sustainability strategies at the property, portfolio, and company level
• Interdisciplinary collaboration at the interface between real estate valuation, condition assessment, and sustainability
• Active involvement in optimizing our digital ESG analysis and evaluation processes
• Working with Switzerland's leading software for real estate portfolio and sustainability management «Wüest Dimensions»
• Working with analytical tools such as Excel, Python, or other data-oriented applications

Qualifications

Your Profile

• An ongoing or completed bachelor's (at least in the later stages of study) or master's degree in Integrated Building Systems, Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Architecture (analytical focus), or a comparable field of study
• Strong interest and curiosity in sustainability management in the construction and real estate industry
• Basic knowledge of ESG topics such as operational energy, building physics, life cycle assessments, and certifications is a plus
• Confident handling of Excel; knowledge of Python or other data-oriented tools is welcome
• Very good analytical skills and a high intrinsic motivation to learn new things and take on responsibility
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in German (mandatory); English and other national languages are an advantage
• Enjoyment of teamwork, openness in dealing with others, and willingness to quickly familiarize yourself with new digital workflows
