The Centre for Addiction Disorders (Centre Director Dr med Eva-Maria Pichler) is part of the Clinic for Psychiatry and Psychotherapy (Clinic Director Prof Dr med Marc Walter). At the main site in Windisch, patients with substance-related addiction disorders including psychological secondary and accompanying illnesses are treated as inpatients. For this purpose, the centre has three specialised wards with different treatment focuses. In addition, the centre offers outpatient addiction medical assessments and treatments at the locations Aarau, Baden and Windisch, as well as substitution and heroin-assisted treatments for people with opioid dependence in Windisch.

Profile

• Registered nurse HF, ideally with experience working with people with addiction disorders or willingness to acquire this expertise
• You are a committed professional with high professional, social and personal competence and bring an interest in the active further development of our treatment concept
• You work independently and regularly reflect on your activity and your own actions
• You have a resource- and solution-oriented understanding of nursing as well as precise oral and written communication skills
• You are a motivated, flexible and team-oriented personality with a sense of humour

Tasks

• Support, care and promotion of people with addiction disorders
• Dispensing substitution medication
• Accompanying our patients in the nursing process within the key worker system
• Implementation of our high-quality treatment concept
• Collaboration in an interdisciplinary treatment team with responsibility for implementing the treatment mandate and the clinic’s mission statement
