About the job
The Winkel care home offers 16 residents a familiar and homely environment in the heart of the village. In the Tüfwis residential area, the KZU enables a form of living that promotes independence, personal responsibility, and the right to have a say. Qualified care staff provide high-quality care around the clock and support where desired and needed.
- As a companion, you offer individual and resource-oriented support for our residents and their relatives
- Actively participate in shaping care processes and document them in care records
- Comprehensive care and support of the residents
- Help shape logistical processes within the care group
- Together with the nursing professional, responsible for daily operations
- FaGe/FaBe or an experienced SRK care assistant; it is also possible to have a corresponding foreign diploma recognised by the SRK

The KZU, with its two in-house day nurseries, operates two care centres in Bassersdorf and Embrach as well as three care homes in Nürensdorf and Winkel. It primarily offers older, care-dependent people a home and, alongside various specialised services, a wide range of outpatient services. The KZU employs around 600 staff, including 75 apprentices and students in 17 different professional groups.
