CNC Machine Operator Long Turning

About the job

We are a leading company in precision manufacturing and are looking for you to strengthen our long turning team. Are you a dedicated and qualified CNC machine operator (m/f/d)?

Your area of responsibility includes:

• Responsible for independently operating long turning machines (Hanwha XD16, Hanwha XD20, Citizen K16, Tornos CT20, Tornos GT13 and/or Star SB20)

• Independently producing precision turned parts according to the production plan

• Responsible for high quality of the workpieces

• Monitoring and correcting the manufacturing process as well as proactive planning

• Contributing process optimizations

• Performing tool changes

• Shift work alternating between early and late shifts

To be successful in this position, you have the following qualifications and skills:

• Completed basic training

• Experience operating one or more of the mentioned CNC long turning machines

• Knowledge of controls (type: Fanuc) as well as tool changes

• Good professional experience in measurement and testing technology and in reading drawings (form and positional tolerances)

• Systemic thinking and understanding of technical contexts

• Quality- and goal-oriented action as well as solution-oriented mindset

• Good German skills at least A2 and communication skills as well as being a team player
