The Regional Association for Social Action (ARAS) Jura–Nord Vaudois brings together

The Regional Social Centre is looking, for its unit supporting notably young adults in difficulty (JAD), for a:

General mission
You ensure the social care of entitled persons in accordance with the Vaud Social Action Law, its regulations, standards and directives (notably that of Social Support) in force through regular follow-up and the granting of socio-professional measures.
In this position, you will have the particularity of welcoming not only usual beneficiaries of the Integration Income (RI), but also young adults in difficulty aged 18 to 25 (JAD), a population for which a special scheme is in place aimed at enabling them to acquire a first certified training.
Main activities
- Social support: personalised support for beneficiaries through assistance, advice and follow-up adapted to their needs, taking into account their overall situation and promoting their
well-being. - Social integration: development and implementation of measures aimed at promoting the social and socio-professional integration of beneficiaries.
- Empowerment: support for acquiring social and administrative skills to strengthen beneficiaries’ autonomy.
Desired profile
- Holder of a diploma from a recognised social school of the HES type (social work stream or other stream with a possible specific additional training) or an equivalent qualification
- Professional experience in the social field
- Knowledge of social institutions and mastery of the standards in force regarding the granting of financial benefits and socio-professional measures
- Good knowledge of social insurances
- Proficiency in common IT tools
With a strong interest in public service and supporting vulnerable people as well as an ethic of the helping relationship, you are also recognised for your flexibility and pragmatism. You also have an open mind and good analytical and synthesis skills.
