Facility Services Employee 80 - 100%At the Office for Military and Civil Protection, around 140 employees at the locations Zurich, Birmensdorf and Andelfingen jointly make an important contribution to the safety of the population.
The Civil Protection Department at the Training Centre in Andelfingen (AZA) is responsible for the training and further education of those obliged to serve in civil protection in the canton of Zurich.
The Training Centre in Andelfingen (AZA) has a versatile training infrastructure for one- or multi-day courses, deployment exercises and seminars of all kinds. Our facilities are available to civil protection, fire brigades, police, medical services, the army and also civilian organisers.
To complement our well-established team in facility services, we are looking for a motivated and committed individual to start immediately or by arrangement.
Your tasks
- General caretaker duties, inspection rounds, waste disposal, cleaning tasks and repair orders
- Preparation of classrooms, lecture halls, hotel rooms, underground facilities and offices for various events
- Ensuring a functioning and efficient operation of the infrastructure (excluding technology and operation of the training grounds)
- Maintenance and upkeep work on the premises and in the teaching rooms
- Practical training of the apprentice facility management specialist EFZ in assigned areas
Your profile
- Completed EFZ training in facility management, caretaking or HVACSE
- High customer orientation as well as enjoyment of order and cleanliness
- You have good IT skills (MS 365) and good German language skills (spoken and written)
- You are willing to align working hours with the course schedule (early mornings, late evenings and weekends)
- Driving licence category B
