About the job
An internationally operating industrial company with several locations worldwide develops and produces technical components and systems for energy supply. To strengthen the team at the Swiss site with around 130 employees, we are looking for a Technical Buyer (m/f) for our client, who ensures the supply of high-quality components with expertise, negotiation skills, and a sense for efficient procurement processes.
- Obtaining, checking, comparing, and professionally preparing offers
- Monitoring and ensuring supplier performance
- Participation in cost optimisations in supply chain management
- Development of alternative procurement strategies
- Scheduling deliveries from internal plants and external suppliers
- Building and maintaining a long-term supplier base as well as process improvements
- Experience in technical purchasing within an industrial company
- Practical experience dealing with international suppliers and technical components
- Good knowledge of SAP (purchasing/scheduling)
- Very good German and good English skills
- Flexible, curious, and solution-oriented with high initiative
- Independent, reliable working style as well as teamwork and assertiveness

Profile
- Commercial or technical basic training, as well as completed further training in purchasing- Experience in technical purchasing within an industrial company
- Practical experience dealing with international suppliers and technical components
- Good knowledge of SAP (purchasing/scheduling)
- Very good German and good English skills
- Flexible, curious, and solution-oriented with high initiative
- Independent, reliable working style as well as teamwork and assertiveness
