To complete our team at the Urology service of the Regional Hospital of Bellinzona and Valli, Bellinzona site, we are looking for a
Assistant Physician (100%)
Profile:
The person occupying this position must work independently, ensuring adequate care for outpatient and inpatient urological patients in the urology department; collaborate with surgeons for weekend medical on-call duties and assist the urologist in surgeries requiring assistance.
The ORBV urology service, integrated into the EOC urology service, has B training status, performs about 900 admissions per year, has a DaVinci Robot, a urodynamics unit, and the most up-to-date instruments for basic endoscopic surgery of the urinary tract and upper urinary tract. The urology outpatient clinic is also equipped with all the equipment for basic diagnostics. It has B training clinic status.
Required qualifications:
- Degree/diploma in medicine and surgery; for doctors with foreign qualifications, recognition by the Federal Commission for Medical Professions MEBEKO and registration with MedReg before starting the activity is mandatory.
- Proven knowledge of the Italian language (required level at least B2) with registration to MedReg before starting the activity. Knowledge of other national languages and English is desirable.
- Initiative; strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Organizational skills and predisposition for interdisciplinary collaboration.
- Flexibility and positive attitude, enjoyment of working in a team and collaborating across disciplines.
