About the job
The Wallisellen school employs around 300 staff with educational and administrative tasks in five schools and six different services.
The Alpen school includes six kindergartens, eight lower-level and nine middle-level classes. From the school year 26/27, we will no longer be a Quims school, but we still have a heterogeneously composed student body, which we consider a strength. As a school team, we are jointly on the path of New Authority and look forward to working together participatively.
To complement our team, we are looking for a primary school teacher for a 5th grade (as FLP or with shared KLP function) and/or for a 4th grade (as FLP or with KLP function) starting August 1, 2026, workload 80-100%, 20-27 teaching hours, working with only one class is also possible.
Your main tasks
- Teaching in two different middle school classes (4th and/or 5th grade) with a heterogeneous student structure
- Collaboration with the teaching and school team
- Open communication and good cooperation with parents
- Enjoyment in further developing teaching and the Alpen school
Your profile
- You have an EDK-recognized diploma for middle school with experience as KLP
- You are creative and communicative and happily support children in their development
- You like to try something new and are not discouraged if it does not succeed immediately
- You are resilient, motivated, and humorous. Your glass is half full
We offer
- A supportive school management that enjoys participation, supports, and communicates openly
- A supportive, committed team as well as professional counseling services (SSA, SPD)
- A beautiful, modern infrastructure
- An engaged, cooperative parents' council
- A school with good transport connections at the gates of the city of Zurich
