Mechanical Service Technician Energy Systems Region German-speaking Switzerland

When others are in the dark, you provide the light – with your know-how you keep our emergency power systems running. At Avesco AG, you work as a mechanical service technician in the German-speaking part of Switzerland, where technology meets responsibility.
Your tasks
- Independently performing maintenance, servicing, and repair work on emergency power systems, dynamic uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), industrial engines (installed for example in locomotives, special vehicles, ships), and combined heat and power plants (CHP)
- Diagnosing, analyzing, and resolving malfunctions
- Performing monthly test runs
- Ensuring commissioning
- Carrying out tasks at customer sites (assignments lasting days or weeks)
- Deployment throughout Switzerland from your place of residence (ideally in the Zurich, Aargau/Upper Aargau, Bern/Biel, or Basel region)
- Providing on-call service
- Assisting in the workshop
Your profile
- Successfully completed basic mechanical training as a construction machinery, agricultural machinery, or truck mechanic
- Good knowledge of combustion engines
- Ideally professional experience as a field service technician or motivation to enter this field
- High willingness to travel and geographic flexibility
- Independent, precise, and reliable working style
- Enjoyment in communicating with customers
- Good German and English skills, French is an advantage
