Your Tasks
- Procurement of spare parts for Caterpillar in close collaboration with international suppliers
- Monitoring of backlogs and timely delivery, influencing the supplier
- Central competence center Avesco-internal for all kinds of inquiries related to the procurement of Caterpillar spare parts
- Coordination of confirmations, schedule changes, and customer feedback in collaboration with other departments from internal and external services
- Participation in projects and excellence programs with Caterpillar
- Inventory monitoring, organization, and processing of returns
- Substituting other spare parts buyers
Your Profile
- Completed technical or commercial basic training – or experience in purchasing, ideally in the spare parts sector
- Very good German and good English skills, French is a plus
- Structured and independent working style
- Team spirit and flexibility
- Negotiation skills as well as a confident and friendly demeanor
