The Department of Aging and Care of the City of Winterthur offers a diverse range of services for the population of the City of Winterthur in the five senior centers as well as with Spitex.

We offer a reliable and sociable person the opportunity to gain first or additional experience in the field of household management in a limited assignment of 6 to 12 months starting January 1, 2026, at the Adlergarten Senior Center.

Your Tasks

Performing maintenance, intermediate, and basic cleaning of residents' rooms, public areas, and sanitary facilities including window cleaning

Proper use of various cleaning machines, cleaning agents, and consumables after training

Support in the internal laundry for processing various textiles as well as distributing work clothes to employees and residents

Proper disposal of various waste

Your Profile

Good German language skills in speaking and writing and understanding of the Swiss dialect

Enjoyment of physical and responsible work

Helpful personality with joy in working with elderly people

Reliable, flexible, resilient team player

Service- and customer-oriented

Willingness to work weekend shifts

The internship is compensated at CHF 16,607.00 per year for a 100% workload until the 18th birthday, thereafter CHF 22,142.00 per year.
