Head of Project Management (m/f/d) 80–100%
Your Tasks
- Professional, personnel and operational leadership of the Project Management department as well as further development of the team in terms of skills, capacities and performance
- Management and control of demanding energy and infrastructure projects throughout the entire project lifecycle, from feasibility study to commissioning
- Project controlling and reporting regarding costs, deadlines, quality and performance as well as budgeting, financial planning and profitability calculations
- Coordination and leadership of all relevant project participants, including external planners, suppliers, contractors as well as internal and external stakeholders
- Acquisition and development of new projects and customer relationships in close cooperation with sales and other departments as well as representation of the company in the market
- Optimisation of processes and standards through cross-departmental collaboration, lean management as well as monitoring and evaluation of new technologies and market developments
Your Qualities
- At least a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Plant Engineering or a comparable technical field
- Several years of professional and leadership experience (at least 5 years) in project management, ideally in the construction of power generation plants (hydro, wind, photovoltaic, BESS or thermal plants)
- Strong project management and stakeholder management skills, complemented by communication strength and negotiation skills; IPMA certification is an advantage
- Fluent German and English skills, French is a plus; driving licence category B present
- Entrepreneurial, structured and independent working style with high resilience and assertiveness
- Winning, proactive and team-oriented personality with high efficiency and the ambition to successfully drive projects forward
