As a Monitoring & Observability Engineer, you take on an important role in the tension between hands-on and management tasks and are thus an important guarantor for a successful leadership team within the Infrastructure and Platforms management area.

• You ensure the secure operation and administration of our Splunk and Grafana environments.
• You monitor the status of the Splunk and Grafana environments, resolve issues, and optimize search performance.
• You integrate new data sources into Splunk and Grafana.
• You identify and integrate data inputs, indexes, and source types and manage them.
• You develop new dashboards, reports, and alerts.
• You monitor the status of the Splunk and Grafana environments.
• You work with various specialists and customers to capture requirements, assist with searches, and fulfill business needs.
• You ensure the security of the Splunk and Grafana environments. You apply security updates to the Monitoring and Observability environments.

• At least 3 years of professional experience in IT monitoring and observability
• Understanding of Splunk and Grafana architectures, administration, and management.
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
• Practical experience with large Splunk and Grafana environments in an enterprise setting
• Native German language skills in spoken and written form
