About the job

• You are responsible for leading and supporting the plant operators during your shift in the 1-2 shift operation and ensure the smooth and efficient running of production including break replacements and shift handovers. 
• You coordinate the personnel deployment plan (assignment to machines, break replacements, etc.) as well as the necessary cleaning and maintenance work.  
• You act as the first point of contact for employees during the shift and proactively support with any problems or questions that arise.  
• You regularly exchange information with the other shift leaders and also ensure seamless communication with production management.  
• You check the processes and systems for accuracy, record data correctly in the MES, and consistently implement hygiene, quality, and safety regulations during your shift.  
• You conduct annual interviews with the employees in your group and represent the department's goals and key figures to the employees.  

• You have several years of professional experience in the food manufacturing industry as well as a completed vocational training in a relevant field. 
• You have a strong understanding of leadership and can already demonstrate experience in leading a small group.  
• You are technically skilled and can lend a hand when a machine malfunction occurs.  
• You have extensive knowledge of SAP and MES and feel comfortable using common MS Office tools.  
• You speak fluent German.
