About the job
Would you like to continue working in a clinically challenging environment but be able to plan your daily routine more reliably? Are you attracted by the opportunity not only to take over existing procedures but to help shape a new anaesthesia service from the outset?
This position combines a focused orthopaedic surgical spectrum with structured organisation and a high degree of personal responsibility. You will join during an exciting development phase, immediately contribute your experience, and together with a small team shape future processes and the on-call organisation.
The established private clinic is one of the leading orthopaedic centres of excellence in the region. The focus is on elective procedures on the hip, knee and shoulder as well as other joint surgeries performed by experienced attending physicians. This means you can expect a predictable operating schedule with high professional quality and close collaboration with a well-coordinated operating team.
From autumn, the clinic will take over anaesthesia for the first time with its own team of around four to five specialists. You will join at exactly the right time: together you will shape the new anaesthesia service, define processes and actively develop teamwork. At the same time, you will benefit from a predictable operating programme from Monday to Friday and a regulated on-call system.
Your responsibilities:
- Independent administration of general and regional anaesthesia for a wide range of elective orthopaedic procedures
- Perioperative care of patients before, during and after surgery
- Close cooperation with attending physicians as well as the operating and nursing teams
- Active involvement in the establishment and further development of the internal anaesthesia service
- Participation in the regulated on-call and emergency service
Your qualifications:
- Specialist qualification in anaesthesiology or an equivalent qualification; for foreign diplomas, we support you with the MEBEKO recognition process
- Enjoyment of independent work in a predictable surgical environment and interest in actively shaping the development of the new anaesthesia service
- Team-oriented personality with high social competence and patient-centred working style
- Good knowledge of German
Your benefits:
- Exclusively elective surgical procedures with a focus on orthopaedics
- Predictable working hours from Monday to Friday
- No regular night or weekend shifts
- Regulated on-call duty with manageable workload
- Participation in building a new internal anaesthesia team
- Job sharing and part-time models possible
- Modern infrastructure and long-term prospects in an established environment
