About the job
Your responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established menu plans and the establishment's specifications.
- Ensure the quality of prepared dishes by adhering to hygiene and food safety standards.
- Collaborate with the team to plan menus and supply needs.
- Control and manage food stocks and costs.
- Master cooking techniques
- Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, dishes, work areas and comply with cleanliness standards.
- Preparation and production of a diverse selection of dishes according to the set menu plans and the establishment's requirements.
- Ensuring the quality of prepared dishes while complying with hygiene and food safety regulations.
- Collaboration with the team in menu planning as well as demand and purchasing planning.
- Control and management of food stocks and monitoring of food cost usage.
- Mastery of cooking techniques.
- Cleaning and maintenance of kitchen equipment, crockery and work areas in compliance with applicable hygiene standards.
Your profile
- You hold a Federal VET Diploma as a cook
- You have at least 5 years of experience as a cook in large-scale catering or collective catering, events, VIP
- You enjoy working in a team and learning from others
- You are disciplined, punctual and seeking a stable job.
- You master HACCP standards
- We offer you: continuous working hours from Monday to Friday 6am - 3pm
- You have a Federal VET Diploma as a cook.
- You bring at least 5 years of professional experience as a cook in community catering, large-scale production, event or VIP catering.
- You enjoy working in a team and appreciate exchange and learning from others.
- You are reliable, punctual, disciplined and looking for a long-term position.
- You master HACCP hygiene standards.
- You are bilingual (French/German).
