The IV Office of the Canton of Bern is undergoing change and is focusing on a modern corporate and leadership culture. We want to align our actions more closely with the needs of our clients and advance digitalisation. To successfully implement this development, we are creating new positions and looking for committed employees who actively shape the change.
What you can achieve with us
- You bring in ideas, take responsibility and ensure that our clients or their legal representatives receive timely clarity on whether they are entitled to the legally prescribed benefits in kind (medical measures, aids) as well as the helplessness allowance.
- In exchange with our clients as well as internal and external partners, you provide comprehensive advice to this group on topics within your area of responsibility.
- You work in a motivated team but are responsible for a final customer base after your induction.
- You work in one of the two benefits in kind teams with a total of 21 people.
Which skills are important to us
- You have successfully completed a commercial or comparable EFZ qualification.
- Ideally, you have already gained initial professional experience in the (social) insurance sector with a focus on benefits in kind and have further trained in this field.
- You enjoy medical terminology combined with legal aspects.
- You like working in a team but also take on tasks independently.
- Thanks to your quick grasp, you immediately recognise what matters and enjoy using discretionary scope decisively in the interest of our clients.
- Your empathetic and appreciative manner in interaction with others and our clients, as well as your service-oriented and communicative nature, complete your profile.
- We are a bilingual (German-French) company, so active knowledge of the respective other language is a plus.

Annual working time (42 hours/week), possibility to work part-time as well as remotely, paid breaks
