- Overall responsibility for an appropriate organization and efficient management of the department with over 40 employees including the workshop and water supply
- Management of construction projects including planning, organization, budgeting, and monitoring
- Competent advice for residents, builders, authorities, and organizations
- Preparation of municipal council and residents' council proposals
- Basic training with appropriate further education (e.g. architecture, spatial planning, civil engineering, diploma as a building administrator or equivalent training)
- Several years of professional experience in a similar role in the engineering or spatial planning sector or in administration
- Good knowledge of administrative, construction, planning, and environmental law
- Leadership experience, organizational and negotiation skills
- Flexibility, assertiveness, and resilience
- Confident and persuasive appearance and fluency in oral and written expression
- Sensitivity to public service and political processes in a municipality
