Your Area of Impact
- In this role, you analyse and evaluate the performance of our trading activities and provide well-founded decision-making bases for trading
- You analyse structured energy trading transactions, commodity derivatives, and flexibility products and consistently map them along the trading and risk processes
- With P&L analyses as well as the plausibility checks and commentary on valuation effects and market movements, you ensure transparency and understanding
- You identify revenue and risk drivers, question trading performance based on market analyses and KPIs, and derive valuable insights
- As an interface between trading, risk management, reporting, and systems, you work cross-departmentally and continuously develop methods and processes
Your Expertise
- Completed studies or training in a quantitative or financial mathematics field (e.g. mathematics, physics, economics, or finance)
- Several years of experience in energy trading, risk management, structuring, or middle office enable you to confidently handle complex issues
- You have solid knowledge in the valuation of commodity derivatives and complex energy trading transactions as well as experience with mapping trading transactions in ETRM systems
- Programming skills in Python, VBA, or SQL help you work data-driven and optimise processes
- Very good English skills and good German skills enable you to communicate clearly in an international environment
