The interprofessional team of the Crisis, Assessment, Emergency and Triage Center (KANT) coordinates, among other things, the emergency admission of children and adolescents both within the Psychiatric University Hospital Zurich and in external child and adolescent psychiatric clinics. In the context of internal referrals, there is close cooperation with the acute ward A0.
For our youth ward A0 (acute ward) at the Lenggstrasse location, we are looking for a
Your tasks
- Support in crisis situations
- Close cooperation with the interprofessional team of the Crisis, Assessment, Emergency and Triage Center (KANT) at the Lenggstrasse location and the acute ward A0
- Care of patients during admission and assessment interviews
- Support during the admission process to the acute ward A0
- Accompaniment to emergency treatments at the nearby children’s hospital if needed
- Ensuring educational and nursing care based on best practice and ethical-moral aspects
- You provide situational support on other wards in the youth area
Your profile
- You place our children and adolescents at the center of your work
- Completed professional training in the field (recognition certificate for foreign qualifications)
- You have experience in child and adolescent psychiatry, ideally in child and adolescent psychiatric acute care, or are willing to acquire the necessary skills
- Willingness to work late shifts from Monday to Friday (situationally also other shifts and weekdays)
