Responsibilities:
- Manufacture and assembly of stamping tools according to technical drawings and specifications
- Carrying out repairs and maintenance on existing stamping tools
- Optimising and adapting tools to improve production processes
- Checking and ensuring the dimensional accuracy and functionality of the tools
- Collaborating with designers and production staff to solve technical problems
- Documenting work processes and creating maintenance plans
Qualifications:
- Basic training as a polymechanic or toolmaker
- Several years of experience in the manufacture and maintenance of stamping tools
- Sound knowledge of handling technical drawings and CAD programmes
- Experience in metalworking and tool technology
- Careful and precise working style as well as manual dexterity
- Good German language skills, both spoken and written
