Your team
Pictet Wealth Management combines more than 200 years of Swiss banking heritage with global investment expertise. The partner-owned financial services group offers a comprehensive service for wealthy individuals and families, including discretionary and advisory investment solutions and family office services.
You will be responsible for developing both tactical and strategic scenarios for foreign exchange rates across G10 currencies, leveraging insights and scenarios provided by the CIO Office & Macro Research team.
Your role
• Analyze the foreign exchange market in conjunction with the global macroeconomic outlook.
• Provide currency recommendations to the investment committee, portfolio managers, and clients.
• Develop indicators and build econometric and quantitative models for currency allocation; update existing economic and financial models.
• Adapt analyses to the specific requirements of private banking and client needs, and synthesize findings for the CIO Office & Macro Research team to deliver value-added ideas for this asset class.
• Contribute to private banking publications and author articles.
• Participate in interviews and deliver presentations at conferences.
Your profile
• Master’s degree in Economics or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum of five years’ experience in economic or market analysis.
• Proficient in standard office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Internet).
• Comfortable working with economic and financial databases, as well as statistical software (E-Views, Matlab, Datastream, Bloomberg, Reuters, and VBA programming).
• Excellent written and spoken French, with strong command of English and outstanding communication skills (including public speaking).
• Swiss residency required.
