Our customer is part of a global high-tech company with headquarters in Switzerland (Basel) and locations in Holland and China. It develops and sells ready-to-use coating materials and functional film products for displays, security documents and for sealing highly sensitive products. For a long-term project, we are looking for someone immediately or by arrangement.

Your main responsibilities
- Conduct research and development of innovative concepts for physical document security
- Lead and coordinate an R&D Team on high security applications
- Plan and execute activities in micro fabrication, characterization and demonstrator development
- Create technical layouts and translate them into functional security concepts for physical document security
- Support IP screening and contribute to new patent applications
- Prepare technical reports and presentations
- Ensure documentation and communication in English
Your Profile
- University degree in natural sciences (PhD in physics, optics, chemistry or comparable field)
- More than 3 years of professional experience, ideally in high security R&D (e.g. OVD development, holography)
- Self driven team player with strong communication skills
- Excellent command of English, knowledge of German desired
