Trust Officer (m/f/d)
Role:
Our client is an established, regionally active trust company with a diverse client portfolio of SMEs and private individuals. The company offers a varied role in a collegial environment where quality, customer proximity and professional advice are paramount.
Responsibilities:
Independent management of a personal client portfolio of SMEs and private individuals
Management of financial accounting as well as accounts receivable and accounts payable accounting
Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements according to the Swiss Code of Obligations (OR)
Preparation of VAT returns
Preparation of tax returns for natural and legal persons
Support and advice to clients on all trust and financial matters
Assistance with payroll accounting as well as social security and withholding tax returns
Support with company formations, changes and administrative trust services
Participation in the optimisation of accounting and trust processes
Qualifications:
Completed commercial basic training (EFZ), ideally in the trust sector, with further training as a trust officer, accounting officer or trustee with a federal diploma (or in training)
Several years of professional experience in trust or financial and accounting fields
Sound knowledge of Swiss accounting, VAT law and the Swiss Code of Obligations (OR)
Very good MS Office skills and experience with common trust or ERP systems
Fluent German skills in spoken and written form
