Polymechanic – Maintenance in the Railway Technology Sector

Activities

Manufacturing railway technology components according to technical drawings and work instructions
Reading and implementing switch, track panel and type plans as well as assembly instructions
Distributing and positioning sleepers and rails according to laying plans
Assembling fastening materials and tightening connections with torque tools
Drilling and assembling earthing components according to specifications
Assisting with the installation and alignment of tongue devices and other switch components
Ensuring the required quality and safety standards

Requirements

Completed basic craft or technical training is an advantage
Experience in track construction, steel construction, metal construction or assembly is an advantage
Confident reading of technical drawings and plans
Manual dexterity and technical understanding
Physically resilient and reliable personality
Independent and careful working style
Team player with a strong safety awareness
