In this role, you will join an interprofessional team that impresses with openness, respect and genuine collaboration. The ward is part of a clinic with three departments in total – you will take responsibility for the acute ward. Here, people with affective and psychotic disorders, acute stress reactions, personality disorders and other mental crises are professionally supported.

Together with committed nursing staff, psychologists, therapists and junior doctors, you will create an environment where patients feel safe – and employees are heard and valued. The clinic places great emphasis on continuous development and supports you on your personal journey as a leader in psychiatry.

Your responsibilities:

• You will take medical leadership of the acute ward and be a reliable contact person in daily life
• Together with the nursing management, you will lead the ward in tandem – on equal footing
• You will accompany, promote and support the junior doctors in their development
• You will actively contribute to team meetings, treatment planning and the further development of ward concepts
• You will also bring your perspectives to working groups and training sessions
• As part of the on-call service, you will also take responsibility for other areas in a rotation model

Your skills:

• You hold a specialist qualification in psychiatry and psychotherapy
• Ideally, you have some leadership experience – or wish to develop this in a supportive environment
• You are interested in acute crisis situations and intensive contact with people in challenging life circumstances
• Very good German language skills are a prerequisite
• If you obtained your qualification abroad, we support you with the MEBEKO recognition – both personally and financially
