Responsibilities
- Operation & Evolution: You maintain business-critical, highly available database environments at top level and drive their future-proof development.- Automation First: You reduce repetitive tasks to a minimum through smart scripts, CI/CD pipelines, and modern infrastructure-as-code approaches.
- Cloud & Hybrid: You actively support the transformation and integration of modern cloud and data services.
- Collaborate with developers and DevOps teams to ensure performance, stability, and security.
Profile
- Database Expertise: Several years of experience in operating, optimising, and troubleshooting complex database environments (e.g. PostgreSQL, Oracle, MSSQL, or cloud databases).- Automation Mindset: Practical experience with scripting and automation tools (e.g. Python, Ansible, Terraform).
- Understanding of Critical Infrastructures: Experience in an environment with high demands on availability, performance, and security (experience in finance or regulatory environments is an advantage).
- Initiative & Agility: A solution-oriented working style, curiosity about new technologies, and the desire to actively contribute your own ideas.
- Language Skills: Fluent German and good English skills.
