About Our Client
For our client, a leading pharmaceutical company in the Lucerne region specializing in innovative drug development and manufacturing, we are seeking a dedicated Supply Chain Specialist (m/w/d). This established organization operates at the forefront of pharmaceutical excellence, maintaining stringent quality standards and regulatory compliance while delivering life-changing medicines to patients worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive material specifications to support qualification processes and ensure successful material releases for clinical manufacturing operations
- Collaborate strategically with cross-functional teams including tech transfer, procurement, and manufacturing to identify optimal materials and select qualified suppliers
- Provide expert technical support to supply chain teams through quality investigations, change control processes, and comprehensive risk assessments
- Lead complex quality investigations and deviation management while mentoring team members to enhance their technical competencies
- Evaluate and assess all material-related changes from vendors or internal sites, implementing appropriate quality change controls when required
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by developing and implementing quality enhancement projects with clear deliverables and strategic planning
- Ensure regulatory compliance by creating and updating policies and procedures aligned with current pharmaceutical guidelines and standards
Your Profile
- Academic qualification in engineering, pharmacy, or science-related field, or minimum 3 years of relevant industry experience
- Proven expertise in quality operations, compliance, or supply chain roles within the pharmaceutical industry
- Excellent English proficiency with strong communication skills across all organizational levels
- Advanced analytical capabilities with exceptional priority management and problem-solving skills
- Change management experience including process implementation and team competency development
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite with advanced Excel skills; SAP knowledge advantageous
- Leadership mindset with strong collaboration abilities and commitment to diversity and inclusion
