About the job
The apprenticeship as a Commercial Clerk EFZ (Transport sector) lasts three years.
In our administration and management, you will learn the workflows and tasks of commercial clerks in various departments until you can finally participate in the operational area.
Important for this profession is that you enjoy working on the computer, have a good grasp of things, and feel comfortable in an office environment. Ideal prerequisites also include good grades from secondary school and an enjoyment of mathematics and languages.
- At the beginning, you will mainly get to know tasks in the back office, such as processing expense reports, sending mail, or additional tasks like invoice checks, etc.
- The next step is to work on the basics of billing transport services and, after introduction, to take on independent tasks in this work area
- Later, we offer you the opportunity to be active in the operational day-to-day business, to receive and process orders, to make enquiries, and to assist with related tasks
- In between, we also offer you the chance to experience practice by travelling with a lorry and gaining a closer insight into the tasks of drivers as well as the handling of the service on site
- An experience week in a branch is also part of our standard training
