About the job
The Ilgenhalde Foundation is committed to people with extensive cognitive and multiple disabilities. We place people with their individual conditions at the centre of our work. The Ilgenhalde location is one of our three institutions. It offers school, living, and therapy for children and young people aged 4 to 20 in Fehraltorf. From August, we are looking to strengthen a class team as a complement.
Educational Staff 50 - 60%
These are your tasks:
- Complementing the class team with a total of 6 children and young people between 9-12 years old
- Special educational support according to the instructions of the responsible special education teachers
- Co-designing the professional support, education, accompaniment, and care of the children and young people
- Empathetic support of children and young people with various impairments
- Close coordination with the class team for a shared educational approach and joint accompaniment of the school day
What you bring with you:
- Qualification as a social pedagogue HF/FH or specialist in care with a focus on disability care or health professional
- Professional experience in supporting people with impairments
- Observational skills and joy in accompanying children and young people
- Reliability, high resilience, and a balanced personality
