What you can achieve
- Technical implementation of an R&D project to develop a new mobile app for iOS and Android in a safety-critical environment
- End-to-end responsibility for the app – from conception through development to productive operation
- Participation in the selection and evaluation of suitable technologies, frameworks and development tools
- Close collaboration with specialist departments and stakeholders to develop a user-centred solution
- Design, implementation and optimisation of new app features throughout the entire software lifecycle
- Implementation of modern CI/CD pipelines as well as automation of build, test and release processes
- Ensuring high quality, security and performance standards
What you bring with you
- Degree in computer science or apprenticeship as an IT specialist EFZ or career changer with further training in computer science
- Several years of professional experience as a software engineer with a focus on mobile apps and backend solutions
- Very good knowledge of Java and/or Kotlin
- Experience in cross-platform app development, e.g. with Flutter, .NET MAUI or comparable frameworks
- Experience with virtualisation and container technologies is an advantage
- Team player with high initiative, conscientious working style and enthusiasm for co-creation
- Very good German skills; English skills (level B2) are an advantage
- Military career as a senior non-commissioned officer or officer is an advantage
