About the job
The Bachelor of Arts in Art Education (BAE) is an attractive foundational training for diverse teaching and mediation activities in the context of art and cultural education. Students are prepared for a first professional qualifying degree in various practical fields of Art Education or for a master's degree (e.g. a master's with a teaching diploma for Fine Arts at secondary level II). The course offers a comprehensive compulsory and elective programme focusing on learning and development processes in art education and aesthetic-cultural education.

Lecturer for the Development of Creative Competencies (30 - 35%)
in the field of time-based media such as film and animation with a focus on analogue methods
The advertisement is aimed at filmmakers and artists whose practical focus is on analogue film design (animation: drawing, collage, stop-motion, pixilation). The portfolio demonstrates through own projects a strong interest in fictional and/or documentary forms of storytelling as well as in narrative strategies as artistic practice in dealing with image, movement and time.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and team-oriented personality with a master’s degree in one of the mentioned fields of activity, who has a deep interest in educational processes and practices and can reflect on and convey film design as a cultural and educational practice in the context of everyday and youth culture.
You have excellent skills in analogue methods and modes of expression as well as the higher education didactic prerequisites to plan, structure and implement courses. In the Bachelor of Art Education, teaching offers are generally developed and carried out in teams, so experience in interdisciplinary collaboration is required. Teaching offers take place weekly in a cursory manner and as quarterly projects. Participation in team meetings, internal training and other programme-specific events is included in the employment.
We offer a varied and interesting teaching activity in a dynamic team and a contemporary study programme. As a lecturer, you actively shape the teaching offers and thus make a valuable contribution to the development of the training.
