5 CFC Laboratory Apprentices (Chemistry Orientation)
The Fribourg School of Engineering and Architecture (HEIA-FR) is a member of the University of Applied Sciences and Arts of Western Switzerland (HES-SO) and offers bilingual bachelor and master level programs.
Mission and field of activity
The 3-year training offered at HEIA-FR covers both areas of the chemistry orientation (organic and analytical). It takes place in a dual system (work in a company and professional courses at EPAI Fribourg). We offer apprentices the possibility to follow the integrated technical professional maturity and to develop in a framework conducive to professional training. You will be accompanied and supported by experienced trainers, specialists in the profession, who will enable you to develop knowledge and skills in line with the needs of the job market or to start higher education.
Your profile
- Completed compulsory schooling (pre-gymnasium or general class) with very good results in mathematics and languages. The final diploma is required to start the apprenticeship.
- Interest in chemistry and sciences
- Sense of organization, observation, and precision
- Taste for experimentation and manual dexterity
