How do we combine service and efficiency in everyday life? We ensure that insurance benefits from the cantonal unemployment fund are paid correctly and on time. We are there when it matters: we review claims, calculate unemployment insurance benefits, and pay them out. Reliably, competently, and with genuine understanding for the people behind the files.
For the Legal Service & Complaints Department in the Unemployment Fund of the Canton of Zurich, headquartered in Winterthur, we are looking for a lawyer to start immediately or by arrangement.
Your tasks:
- independently drafting objection decisions and complaint submissions in proceedings before social insurance and federal courts
- carrying out the necessary legal clarifications
- representing the unemployment fund in labour law proceedings before courts (drafting legal documents as well as personal representation)
- advising clients, partners, as well as internal and external bodies
- maintaining contact with the supervisory authority SECO (e.g. clarifications regarding AVIG enforcement)
- participating in working groups and process revisions
Your profile:
- law degree (at least Bachelor level)
- professional or court experience in law, preferably in social insurance and labour law
- structured, careful, and reliable working style
- service-oriented and appreciative as well as respectful interaction with all stakeholders
