G&F Châtelain, a branch of Chanel SARL, is Chanel's watchmaking and jewelry manufacture in Switzerland. Responsible for developing, manufacturing, and assembling the brand's watches and jewelry, our site brings together a wide variety of trades combining artisanal know-how and very high technology.
You will join the Logistics teams. As a Purchaser, your main mission is to ensure the supplies within your scope. You will report to the Head of Purchasing & Subcontracting.
YOUR IMPACT AT CHANEL
You will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Analyze needs, place orders, monitor portfolios.
- Keep data up to date
- Make provisions for our partners by anticipating the availability of components to be supplied.
- In collaboration with Planning, prioritize procurement work in progress and closely monitor new items.
- Improve existing processes to make the scope more reliable and secure.
- Handle supplier invoice processing.
- Maintain regular and cordial contact with partners.
- Track incoming and outgoing shipments in transit.
- Ensure the validity of the service's operating procedures and update them if necessary
- Participate in archiving the service's data
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
You hold a Master’s degree or at least a Bachelor’s degree in Logistics or Supply Chain. You have at least 3 years of successful experience in a similar position, ideally acquired in the industrial sector, and more particularly within a watchmaking company.
You master office tools, especially Excel (advanced), and you easily adapt to using an ERP. Knowledge of ProConcept is an asset.
You demonstrate strong analytical skills, proactivity, rigor, perseverance, and great methodology. You know how to organize your priorities and appreciate teamwork. Your versatility, combined with solid problem-solving skills, allows you to respond effectively to the variety of tasks related to this position.
