Your Role
- Performing demanding syntheses of pharmaceutical intermediates on various complex multipurpose plants
- Carrying out drying and milling processes
- Taking the lead within a plant team and serving as a contact person for interfaces
- Flexible deployment within the plant park to cover peak loads
- Supporting the shift supervisor in guiding and supervising (new) employees, as well as troubleshooting problems and clarifying causes
- Assisting in ensuring compliance with safety and GMP guidelines within the shift group
- Proactively contributing to the continuous improvement process within chemical/physical production and implementing assigned technical and/or work process-related optimizations
Your Profile
- Completed training as a chemistry and pharmaceutical technologist, chemical technician, or comparable qualification
- Several years of experience in chemical production, good knowledge in chemical engineering/plant technology, combined with the ability to pass on existing knowledge to colleagues during training
- Professional leadership experience (mentoring, team leadership) desirable
- Knowledge or ability to operate all plants within the assigned departments
- Acts as a role model for safety and GMP behavior within the shift team and provides support when needed
- Can take on a role as team support within the group and intervene as a moderator in conflict situations due to high social competence
- Loyal personality with a positive, motivating attitude – "can do mentality"
- Fair and open communication style with employees and supervisors
- Resilient personality who tackles difficult tasks and has high flexibility to respond to various problems

What We Do in Zofingen
At our headquarters in Zofingen, we develop and produce active ingredients (API) and corresponding intermediates. This also includes the production of highly potent active ingredients. Furthermore, we offer chemical process development as well as pharmaceutical services. We supply our global customers with exemplary Swiss quality and operate fully in compliance with cGMP and SGU standards.
