The Küsnacht school offers lunch, day, and holiday care for around 1,000 children from 1st kindergarten to 6th primary class in four school-complementary care facilities (KICK). The children are cared for during non-teaching times and school holidays. Additionally, there is a family-complementary offer. In the municipally owned Heslibach nursery with 24 day places, children aged from three months to kindergarten entry with diverse social and cultural backgrounds are cared for.
For our KICK pool of ‘floaters’ for our care facilities KICK Itschnach, KICK Goldbach, KICK Heslibach, KICK Dorf and the Heslibach nursery, we are looking to fill several positions immediately or by arrangement
‘Floaters’ as Care Assistants
Your tasks
- ‘Floaters’ are needed for sickness or other absences of existing employees, often at very short notice – a permanent position or employment with a fixed workload is not possible
Possible working hours are Monday to Friday and daily deployment times are from 07:00 to 18:15, whereby ‘floaters’ must be available for at least three full days per week (please indicate your three possible deployment days from Mon to Fri in the application tool)
- Participation in the care of children and toddlers
- Accompanying the children on their way
- Household tasks, including cleaning duties
- Care and leisure activities for the children in close cooperation with the group leader and care team
- Participation in holiday care
What you bring with you
- Preferably previous professional experience in caring for groups of children in kindergarten, primary and preschool age
- Career changers and re-entrants are welcome
- Positive view of people, quality awareness, teamwork, resilience and independence
- Empathetic, loving and patient in dealing with children
- Motivated, eager to learn and interested in the development of children
- Resilient, responsible as well as humorous
- Very good oral and written German skills
- Residence preferably in the Küsnacht ZH region
