About the job
The Adullam Foundation is a leading institution for geriatric medicine, therapy, and care in Northwestern Switzerland. It operates a hospital and an affiliated care centre each in Basel and Riehen. The approximately 800 employees provide elderly people with a regionally unique all-round care service from acute medicine through rehabilitation to transitional and long-term care. Due to the retirement of a valued team member, we are looking to strengthen our 12-person kitchen team at the Riehen location from 1 August 2026 or by arrangement with a dedicated individual who contributes daily to the well-being of our guests through their work.

Your Contribution
- You prepare fresh, balanced meals daily for patients, residents, and employees at the diet station
- You work reliably according to recipes and actively contribute to compliance with our quality and nutritional standards
- You flexibly support all stations in the kitchen and, if necessary, the kitchen team at the Basel location including meal distribution
- You ensure consistent compliance with all hygiene regulations together with the team
- You participate in banquets and events
- You work interdisciplinarily with nutritional counselling, care, and catering
Your Profile
- Completed training as a cook EFZ or equivalent
- Mandatory: Further training as a diet cook
- Experience in community catering, ideally in a hospital or care environment
- Team spirit, quality awareness, and a strong service orientation
- Very good German skills as well as IT knowledge
