About the job

• You lead the outpatient clinic of adult psychiatry in collaboration with the team’s management members.
• As a member of our interdisciplinary treatment team, you undertake psychiatric and psychotherapeutic assessments, treatments, and consultations for patients and their relatives.
• In your role as senior physician of the outpatient clinic, you supervise assistant physicians and psychologists.
• With the support of the secretariat, you manage the duty roster and occasionally participate in the consultative and liaison service in the hospitals in cooperation with your team.
• In your varied daily work, you take part in handovers, case discussions, and training sessions and actively contribute to internal continuing education and training.
• You are a member of the management team at the Sargans location and are committed to the further development of the department and the site.

• You are a specialist in psychiatry and psychotherapy.
• It is advantageous if you have leadership experience.
• You hold a professional practice licence from the canton of St. Gallen or meet the necessary requirements to obtain it before starting the position.
• Your interest lies in outpatient, interdisciplinary treatment oriented to the needs of patients and their relatives.
• Regular further training and guideline-compliant therapy are important to you.
• You are committed, value contact with patients, and enjoy working in a team.
