About the job
What is my role?
Assembly, disassembly and replacement of door systems and door components on rail vehicles according to technical documents
Mechanical adjustment work on door leaves, guides, thresholds and seals
Installation and connection of door drives in cooperation with electrical/mechatronics
Setting and adjusting the doors regarding gap dimensions, running behaviour and tightness
Carrying out functional tests with documentation of the results
Repair and maintenance work: grinding, drilling, rivet and screw connections, replacement of wear parts
Preparation and reworking of components
Compliance with safety requirements and quality standards as well as documentation in the production system
Participation in fault diagnosis and reporting of complex defects to specialist departments
What do I need to be successful?
Training as automation technician, apparatus builder, electrician, construction electrician
At least 3 years of experience
Safety and quality awareness
