INTERNSHIP – WATCHMAKING SUPPLY CHAIN DEMAND PLANNER (M/F)
Within the Operations Department, you assist the Watchmaking Supply Chain team of the WFJ division
In this role, your mission revolves around the following activities:
Internship – Coordination of Demand Planning activities for finished products (Watchmaking segment)
Main missions:
1. Coordination and monitoring of forecasts:
- Analyze, monitor and challenge monthly sales as well as forecast adjustments from the regions.
- Participate in various regional meetings (Touchbase, Demand Review, Consensus Meeting, Validation Meeting): preparation, writing minutes and follow-up of action plans.
- Evaluate and improve monthly the accuracy and variability of machine learning models as well as their adjustments.
- Participate in weekly meetings with machine learning teams to optimize and develop the models.
2. Project management:
- Implement performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor discrepancies between forecasts from Regions, Divisions and Finance, at the finest possible level. Monitor performance and underperformance of new products.
- Design relevant KPIs to monitor the accuracy and variability of models generated by machine learning.
- Harmonize and rationalize KPIs between the Watchmaking and Jewelry divisions.
- Write clear and structured procedures on the various Anaplan processes of the regions.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of Supply Chain processes in collaboration with the Jewelry Supply Chain team based in Paris.
Others:
- Contribute to the preparation of the forum and all region call.
Profile sought:
- Engineering student (Master's level), with a specialization or strong interest in Supply Chain.
- A first professional experience in a company, highlighting your skills with IT tools such as Excel, VBA, Power BI or an ERP, would be an asset.
- You have a strong taste for problem solving and possess solid analytical skills.
- Recognized for your rigor, perseverance, autonomy and interpersonal skills.
- You speak and write English fluently.
Job conditions:
An internship agreement is mandatory for this position and must meet the following conditions:
- The internship must be planned within your study curriculum.
- The internship must be necessary for obtaining the degree.
- The internship must be validated by the awarding of study credits.
