The Küsnacht school offers lunch, day, and holiday care for around 1,000 children from 1st kindergarten to 6th grade in four school-complementary care facilities (KICK). The children are cared for during non-teaching times and school holidays.
In the care facility KICK Dorf around 180 children with different social and cultural backgrounds are cared for. To support the care team, we are looking for a Group Leader 75% starting August 13, 2026
Group Leader 75% in the Lower Level
Your tasks
- Your working hours are: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and either Wednesday or Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Also participation in holiday care during two weeks per year
- Educational and organizational leadership of a group of primary school children in 1st and 2nd grade
- Promotion of children in the social and emotional area in close cooperation with the care team
- Leadership of a multi-person care team of 4-6 employees
- Collaboration with parents, school team, and the municipality
What you bring with you
- You have completed training as a social pedagogue, FaBe childcare worker, or a pedagogical education or have a Swiss diploma recognition for a comparable foreign diploma
- Professional experience in caring for groups of children in kindergarten and primary school age and already experience as a group leader
- Positive view of people, quality awareness, teamwork, resilience, and independence
- Very good oral and written German skills (minimum C1); English skills are an advantage
- Ideally training as a vocational trainer
