Your tasks:
In this responsible role, you take overall responsibility for the operational management of CBS Facility Management. Together with your team, you ensure a safe, economical and sustainable operation of the new Dreispitz Campus Basel building of the University of Applied Sciences Northwestern Switzerland.
- Professional and personnel management of the Facility Management team as well as promotion of a modern leadership culture
- Overall responsibility for the technical and infrastructural building operation as well as ensuring the operational readiness of all buildings and systems
- Planning and control of maintenance, repair, renewal and investment measures
- Responsibility for budget planning and the economic management of Facility Management
- Implementation of the strategic orientation of Facility Management and management of optimisation and digitalisation projects
- Management and coordination of external service providers and suppliers as well as ensuring a high level of service quality
- Ensuring compliance with legal requirements in the areas of occupational safety, health protection, fire protection and environmental protection as well as participation in the on-call service
Your profile:
- Completed Advanced Federal Diploma of Higher Education (HFP) or equivalent further training in Facility Management, Building Management, Building Technology or a related field
- Several years of leadership and professional experience in Facility Management or building operations
- Sound knowledge of technical and infrastructural building management
- Good knowledge of relevant legal regulations and standards in the areas of occupational safety, health protection, fire protection and building operations
- Strong leadership, communication and negotiation skills as well as a confident manner
- Analytical, structured and solution-oriented working style with a high level of service and customer orientation
- Good knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications and ideally experience with CAFM systems
