The Institute for Therapies and Rehabilitation comprises around 80 employees and offers a diverse range of therapies for patients in both outpatient and inpatient settings. For the specialist team Neurology / Geriatrics / Paediatrics, we are seeking by arrangement a speech therapist in the field of neurology as well as for acute inpatient therapy.
Who we are
Your tasks
- Treatment of adult patients with phoniatric or neurological disorders
- Implementation of evidence-based speech therapy measures for speech, language, voice or swallowing disorders in inpatient and outpatient neurological patients as well as treatment of patients from the acute inpatient medical and maxillofacial surgery departments.
Your profile
- Qualified speech therapy degree
- Experience as a speech therapist in the adult sector
- Familiar with dysphagia therapy for patients with and without tracheal cannula as well as with instrumental swallowing examinations, or willing to undertake further training accordingly
- You feel comfortable in a lively hospital environment and are part of an interprofessional team
