About the job

What is the position about?

This internship offers you the unique opportunity over 12 months to deeply immerse yourself in the process landscape of an internationally active company and actively participate in the preparation of the SAP S/4HANA migration. The intern works closely with the global process owners in the business as well as the responsible IT teams and supports them especially in the complete documentation of all current processes. This creates a deep understanding of how processes are mapped in the SAP system, how end-to-end relationships work, and which system settings underlie the workflows. Through detailed analysis, insights into possible improvement potentials are also opened up, which are identified and documented in a structured manner. In addition, the intern gains valuable experience in a global transformation, works in an international project environment, and gains insights into project and change management.

What tasks will you take on?

You will:

Collaborate in Business Process Management along the entire value chain

Model processes in Signavio according to BPMN 2.0

Support the technical preparation of the S/4HANA migration

Support project management and global coordination

Record processes directly in the SAP system (system walkthroughs with key users)

Participate in fit-gap analyses between ECC and S/4HANA

Conduct interviews with departments to collect process logics and dependencies

Build and maintain a global process library

Support process and system tests (validation activities)

Identify and document improvement potentials

Assist in change management, e.g., creating training materials or communication content

You:

Have recently completed your studies in business informatics, business administration, industrial engineering, or a comparable field

Are flexible, open to new things, and have a quick grasp

Are characterized by careful and independent working methods

Communicate confidently in German and English.
