The Career and Vocational Counselling Wil is a modern, customer-oriented, and established service centre that supports young people and adults around career choice and career questions. Our team consists of 12 employees.
To strengthen our team, we are looking for a
Career and Vocational Counsellor (m/f/d)
from 1 November 2026 or by arrangement
Workload: 80%
Workplace: Wil
What to expect
- individual counselling of young people (including school office hours, class and parent events)
- career counselling for adults
- short consultations in the BIZ
- maintaining contacts with schools, educational institutions, and the economy in the region
- participation in projects and cantonal specialist teams
- depending on interest and suitability, the possibility to additionally take on counselling within the framework of vocational education case management
What distinguishes you
- completed training in career, study, and vocational counselling or willingness to complete the MAS in Career, Study, and Vocational Counselling
- preferably several years of professional experience in a comparable position
- initiative, independent, and versatile interested personality
- committed dedication to the concerns of career and vocational counselling
- resilience, high reflection and communication skills
- willingness to change to master even demanding situations
- efficient and organised handling of administrative tasks
