The Department Secretariat is the staff unit of the Department of Construction and Environment. In addition to providing general services, it supports the head of the department in managing the department. The Department Secretariat manages and prepares the department's business for the government and cantonal council. It also performs coordination and support functions within the department.
We are looking for a
Commercial Clerk Department Secretariat 50%
immediately or by arrangement with the workplace in Glarus.
Tasks
- Administrative responsibility for the Department Secretariat
- File management and administrative support in complaint handling
- Coordination and organization of meetings and events
- Administration and minute-taking of commission meetings
- Support with specific internal specialist applications
- Management of the procurement statistics program, including creation of evaluations
- General secretarial work as well as telephone and counter service (reception)
Requirements
- Completed commercial training with professional experience, preferably in public administration
- Fluency in oral and written expression
- Structured and precise way of working
- High reliability and independence
- Very good IT and MS Office user skills
- Social competence and ability to work in a team
